1. What is a VSM? A VSM is an industry term for a VideoSpokesModel. A VideoSpokesModel is a real-life video of an actor or actress that appears on a website.
2. How can I get a VSM? First you select a model and send us your script. Second, we record your model in our studio. Third, we send you a simple line of code that you can copy and paste anywhere on your website. Your model will then appear on your website every time your page is opened!
3. What if I can't write my script? If you're having trouble writing your script just give us a call at (877) VIDEO- 13 and we can help you write the perfect script.
4. How much is it going to cost? You can get a VSM on your site for as little as $299!
5. What if a want my VSM to appear on more then one page? That's easy; you can split up your video package into as many pages (possibly15-30 seconds per page) and any way you want with no additional charge.
6. Does my VSM only come in one size? No, your VSM is available in three different sizes. A full-body size, mid-body (from the waist up), and a headshot option.
7. Can I Make the Video Smaller or Bigger? Yes, we can make the final version any dimension you want.
8. Can I Host My Own Videos? YES! We provide you with a download link to get your flash video file and the necessary files and code with installation instructions. Progressive download is not as good as streaming so you may want to test it out first. Of course, you can always ask us to host it later for just $19.99 per month.
9. What is Flash Streaming and what is the Benefit? We use our own Flash Media Server network to provide Flash Streaming as an additional service to our clients. Flash streaming is the best way to deliver video on the internet as it �streams� the data into your computer as the video is playing which is similar to a broadcast in a sense. Without Flash streaming, you are delivering the video in what is called a �progressive download� this is less expensive and what most of our competition offers. Flash Streaming instantly loads the video where Progressive Download starts a buffer and will take time to load until that buffer has been met. While the video is playing the data is being downloaded, this can cause stuttering issues and can cause your video to pause and wait until the buffer is met again. Flash streaming works in a more secure manner to allow your viewers to start it instantly and view it uninterrupted on even on slow broadband speeds so there are no pauses or delays.
10. How Much is Flash Streaming? Our plans start at $19.99 per month for the majority of our clients. For top clients that expect over a few hundred views each hour we provide a free bandwidth consultation and determine a price based on the amount of videos, storage and expected number of viewers in the thousands that will view each day or hour. Because we own our own Flash Media Servers you can be assured that we will get you the best price anywhere.
11. Can I use my own models or even me? Yes, we do work with other talent that you provide and our studio is located in West Chester, PA just outside of Philadelphia.
